Wolds

The Yorkshire Wolds is a gently undulating landscape with the Wolds Way a National Trail of 79 miles from Hessle, near the Humber Bridge to Filey on the North Yorkshire Coast.
Many of the valleys in the Wolds escaped cultivation and remain little changed from the Middle Ages
