Sewerby

Sewerby Hall with it's dramatic cliff-top position has 50 acres of parkland. It was built in 1714-20 by John Greame with additions in 1808.
Sewerby is an ancient village, the Romans built a settlement here and the village was mentioned in the Doomsday Book
